Editing is almost complete. We converted the footage to black and white, and it looks glorious. Here's a taste:

Project #1: "pavement"

pavement is a short film written and directed by Dan Howes. We will be shooting tomorrow, Wednesday sept 23rd. The film is silent, and will be shot on a Sony HL2 camera in 24p, and will be edited on Final Cut Pro. The film is set during a rare heatwave in the Emerald City, and explores the effect this strange heat has on a man who is already wallowing in feelings of inferiority and pent up primal aggression. A misunderstanding leads to a violent confrontation that none involved asked for or expected.

We hope that the shoot goes well, and we hope that it is sunny and hot tomorrow.
